The FDA has blessed a new treatment for the bleeding disorder von Willebrand disease. The FDA disclosed Tuesday that it has approved California drugmaker Baxalta’s Vonvendi (recombinant von Willebrand factor) for on-demand treatment of adult patients with the inherited disorder.
