GRAM Partners With J&J to Manufacture COVID-19 Vaccine

Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) has partnered with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) to manufacture the drugmaker’s COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
Under the agreement, J&J will transfer the manufacturing process for the vaccine to GRAM, who will provide fill-and-finish manufacturing services at its facility in Grand Rapids, Mich. Financial terms were not disclosed.
J&J last week began the largest phase 3 trial of a COVID-19 vaccine to date, in which it aims to enroll 60,000 participants across eight countries.
