Vancouver-based bioLytical Laboratories has received a CE mark certification for its INSTI COVID-19 rapid test for detecting coronavirus antibodies.

The portable test kit delivers results in one minute from a single drop of blood and doesn’t require any additional processing equipment, providing all the needed materials in a single pouch.

INSTI COVID-19 is “the only test of its kind to use innovative flow-through technology to deliver results, making it far faster than other antibody tests currently available,” the company said.
