Sanofi to Open New Global Research Institute in China
Sanofi has announced plans to launch a new global research institute in China, the French drugmaker’s fourth such global institute.
The company will invest almost $125 million over five years in a 4,000-square meter facility at the Suzhou Industrial Park in Jiangsu, a cooperative project between the governments of China and Singapore.
Earlier this week, Sanofi announced that it will invest $476 million in a multi-vaccine manufacturing facility in Singapore to mass-produce vaccines for the Asian market.
