Avisa Diagnostics, a devicemaker developing a biomarker breath test for bacterial load in post-COVID-19 and ventilator-associated pneumonia patients, has named Barbara Bunger as its new vice president of clinical development.

Bunger brings more than three decades of industry experience and a notable track record in developing clinical and regulatory strategies and global clinical trial operations.

She previously served at Becton Dickinson as the company’s worldwide director of clinical research and corporate clinical development, where she managed international trials for six business units.
