Lebanon, N.H.-based DoseOptics has received an additional 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its BeamSite system for use in clinical radiation therapy.

The system, which received initial clearance from the agency in December 2020, allows radiotherapists to see “all aspects of the dose delivery to the patient’s skin,” the company said.

The device combines multiple, high-sensitivity cameras with efficient data storage, so it can be left on throughout the procedures.
