DDMAC Warning Letters Increase; Quality of DTC Ads Declining, FDA Official Says

Pharmaceutical firms, already taking a public beating for their direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising practices, also are facing increased scrutiny from the FDA, which last year issued a record number of warning letters to firms for violating the agency’s ad regulations.
