FDA Proposes Generics Test to Ease Industry's Clinical Requirements

The FDA is proposing a new test to estimate the similarity between brand drugs and their generic equivalents, taking into account the variability in the source brand drug when deciding whether to grant a generic drug application, agency sources said.
