The FDA wants to cut funding for some generic drug programs, including generic drug research and information processing modernization, as part of its plan to reassign $52.3 million from various agency programs in fiscal 2007 to fund priority areas, including influenza pandemic preparedness, drug safety, and the Critical Path Initiative.
