STUDY RESULTS OF NOVEL INOVIO ELECTROPORATION DEVICE FOR GENE DELIVERY PUBLISHED IN VACCINE JOURNAL
Inovio Biomedical, a late stage developer of oncology and other therapies using electroporation to deliver drugs and nucleic acids, recently announced that a scientific article presenting study data of a new device for combined injection and electroporation of plasmid DNA in large animals and humans was published in Vaccine, September, 2005. This study determined that electroporation of DNA using a novel injection/electroporation device resulted in efficient transfection and immune response in larger animals using mild electrical conditions and moderate amounts of DNA.
