Senator Calls for Increased Generic Drug Use in Part D

By promoting generic drug use, the government could help fix two key problems with the American healthcare system — quality and cost — according to a paper co-authored by Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Special Committee on Aging.
