Clinical trial sponsors should be aware that the FDA checks whether certain racial or ethnic groups are included among subject populations, and the agency may reject a new drug application based on trials that have not taken these factors into consideration, according to Leonard Sacks of the FDA’s Office of Critical Path Programs.
